Golden scales and the voice of a skylark, or a flute, that rides over the waves. The ningyo, a mermaid, is an ancient priestess of the water and runs through the sea to keep peace. One washed upon the shore is an omen of war, or calamity, and must be kept safe and well in order to save the world from what harm will come.
For Trassla, the Ningyo pulls out the island of Taiwan, bringing forth the nature of calamity and chaos, the beauty that draws man into war and makes him willing to rally violence to keep the peace he needs. The facade is agile and swift, tending to be the fastest on land or water of all the facades Trassla takes on but, mostly, Ningyo days mean days of wanting to lounge around and eat. Ningyo days also incorporate a lot of looser wear for legs, mostly silks and skirts, wraps that make the odd feeling of flesh far more tolerable.
