An enigmatic sentient species whose forms only ever made tangible off of the feeding of other living things, the Yfanzi made deals with the visitors who called themselves Whakaora many ages ago. In this deal, the Yfanzi were taught to feed on specific concepts they willed: life, mana, thought, sex, spirit, whatever each deal felt most adjusted toward. And in turn, they were given facades. But as Yfanzi learned to feed only enough to sustain, not to kill, their forms varied; now, each Yfanzi varies four to six forms.

By the nature of their weaving souls, Yfanzi are supportive and powerful, capable of uniting forces and empowering figures and hearts that stand together. They weave and work every tapestry and thread, be it physical or conceptual, into new, enhanced forms.
